 BBC Reception They say there’s no such thing as a free lunch, but during March, you can hear live music for free, every lunchtime at BBC Radio Cleveland. The Lunchtime Sessions will showcase a range of local music and other performances in the BBC Radio Clevelands new reception area on Newport Road in Middlesbrough.
The sessions take place between 12 midday and 2pm weekdays, in the hope of attracting people in their lunch breaks and whilst out shopping. The line ups for March are as follows: Tuesday 13th Dartz! - 12 noon Milo Thelwall acoustic session - 1pm Thursday 15th Bob Fischer Friday 16th Comic Relief stand up challenge and comedy workshops with Jason Cook Monday 19th Carl Eaton Suzanne Marron Tuesday 20th Andy Jones Thursday 22nd Abingdon Primary School Steel Band Friday 23rd Bagpiper Martin Stoker And another rather exciting band TBC Monday 26th Middlesbrough Jazz & Blues Orchestra Sax Quartet Tuesday 27th Songwriter Andy Corner Wednesday 28th King Eskimo Thursday 29th Sean Lennox Friday 30th Kubichek!
