 From Teesside with Love is a musical project ran by a partnership between The Stockton Music and Arts Collective (SMAC) and The Middlesbrough Music Collective. It's aim is to bring Teessides music to the fore on a national level and increase the awareness of Teesside's musical abilities.
The project runs seminars, training sessions, gigs and showcases to acheive it's aims and plans are afoot for compilation CD releases and an internet record label. The seminars that are planned include such subjects as recording & mixing, sequencing, sampling, music on the Internet, DJ skills and songwriting techniques. Future plans also include a travelling showcase to London for a major gig with some of the regions top bands with invited music industry representatives.
