A LEAFLET is now available listing summer park events. Stockton Borough Council's countryside team has put together a full-colour booklet to help people get the most out of the borough's parks.
The 24-page publication is full of events being held from now to September that are free or have a small charge to cover the cost of materials. The leaflet has details of more than 70 events, including a dawn chorus walk at Wynyard Woodland Park, at 4.30am on Sunday, May 14, and a chance to see some birds of prey with Falconry UK at Preston Park on Sunday, April 23, at 2pm. The leaflets are available from libraries, Stockton's Tourist Information Centre and Country Park Visitor Centres. People can be put on a mailing list by calling the Countryside Team on (01642) 526871. It can also be downloaded on the council's website, www.stockton.gov.uk
